Wendelin + Jupyter: shared environment in cluster

Wendelin and ERP5 kernel for Jupyter are in constant evolution. This time, to match the distribute architecture of ERP5 a solution was developed to allow code from Jupyter to be executed correctly in an ERP5 cluster, which can have many processes in many different servers. The user now can create a context using the new "environment object" to store definitions of functions, classes, modules imports and customizations and they will be available automatically in the ERP5 process chosen to run the code.

Wendelin: new 0.4 alpha announced

Wendelin has just announced the new 0.4 alpha release. This release focuses on reducing installation time for Debian 8.1 (64bit) while also fixing a number of performance bugs and providing a fully functional development instance able to run live tests and allowing anyone to develop on top of Wendelin. ERP5: Open Source ERP Optimized for Thuraya IP

For an ongoing project we were required to run ERP5 on remote locations in China with no reliable internet access. We gave Thuraya a try, which provides internet access using their satellite broadband terminals and used a RenderJS-based HTML5 offline-capable ERP5 interface which stores and synchronizes data using jIO and runs on NayuOS ensuring a minimum of data being sent up- and downstream.
