OpenOffice vs LibreOffice Availability Test

I recently found a stability issue of LibreOffice UNO interface after a cloudooo(a file conversion server used for ERP5) instance upgrade which replaced OpenOffice 3.1.1.2 with LibreOffice 3.5.6.2. So I measured UNO interface availability of some OpenOffice compatible programs by calling an ERP5 sale order printout form(Use 10 concurrent users to each call the printout form 10 times).

The result shows that OpenOffice 3.1.1.2 which was released in 2009 is the most stable version and all recent versions are not stable enough. And it shows also that LibreOffice is less stable than OpenOffice.

Since Cloudooo does not yet support LibreOffice 4, I could not test it although I heard that LibreOffice4 is better than version 3. It seems that LibreOffice4 UNO interface is not compatible with OpenOffice's one any longer. So a reasonable choice for now would be to keep using an old version of
OpenOffice.
